Interview with Dan Johnson of Love and Death

Late last year, I spoke with Brian "Head" Welch about his new music with his band that was, at the time, called HEAD. The band has since been renamed Love and Death and released an EP, Chemicals, in April. The band (Brian "Head" Welch- Vocals & Guitar/ Dan Johnson- Drums/ Michael Valentine- Bass/ J.R. Bareis- Guitar) just finished a line of U.S. dates but will be continuing to tour throughout the summer. They are also preparing for the fall release of their full length album.

I have to say that out of all of the bands that are currently in the studio, I'm most excited to hear Love and Death. I can't stop listening to their latest single, "Chemicals". Make sure you check out the video below!
I recently spoke with Dan Johnson; check out our interview to hear him talk about touring, the new album, and how he feels about Head's affiliation with Korn.

Interview with Tryg Littlefield of Fall From Grace

Some of you may remember the band Fall From Grace as the winners of Fuse TV's "Bodog Music Battle of the Bands" back in 2007. After winning the $1 million contract, the band released their third album Sifting Through The Wreckage in 2008. FFG is now on an indie label and in January released their first album in four years, The Romance Years. With the new lineup, (Tryg Littlefield- Lead vocals & guitar/ Brian Olson- Guitar & vocals/ Ty McDonald- Guitar/ Justin McDonald- Bass & vocals/ Jesse Smith- Drums & vocals) the band is currently on tour with Eve 6 and The Audition. (Click here for tour dates)
I caught up with the guys at their show at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY, last week, and it was insane! It was my first time seeing the band live, and I was most definitely impressed. The guys put on a really great, energetic show, and their new music sounds amazing! I spoke with Tryg a few weeks ago when he talked about The Romance Years, what inspires him most, and his relationship with fans!

"18 & Out"

I had a blast hanging out with the guys after the show; they're awesome! Make sure you hit up one of their shows. Check out their official site, Facebook, and Twitter for more info.
